Notes: In 1870, this family resided at house #92, township 11, in Buncombe County, NC, with Rosanna, Elizabeth, Harriet, Laura, George,
Elijah, Sophrone, Sarah, Mary, and John still at home. Nearby, at house #93, Was T. J. Gentry, age 28.

In 1880, the family was at house #78 in Flat Creek, Buncombe County, NC, with Rosanna, George, Elijah, Mary, John, and Sallie still at home.
Nearby were James and Laura Gentry Evans at house #76, and Columbus and Harriet Gentry Wallin at house #77.
